Terms of Service

Effective October 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of the YourBookUX reader app, personal library, EPUB reader, and audiobook player. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. About the service

YourBookUX provides access to supported digital books through a registered reader account. Features may include a personal library, reading and listening progress, and access through book registration, QR or NFC cards, and other authorized access methods.

Features, availability, and included formats may vary by book and publisher.

2. Your account

You are responsible for providing an accurate phone number and safeguarding verification messages and access to your device. Do not share verification codes. Notify support if you suspect unauthorized access.

Access to a title is governed by the entitlement connected to your account. We may limit access to protect the service from fraud or misuse.

3. Books and permitted use

Books, narration, cover art, and other creative material belong to their respective rights holders. Unless a publisher expressly states otherwise, your access is a personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to read or listen; it is not a transfer of copyright.

Do not redistribute files, defeat access controls, upload infringing material, or use the service unlawfully.

4. Content availability

The books visible in My Library depend on the titles associated with your verified account. Available formats and features can vary by title. Content may be updated, temporarily unavailable, or withdrawn for technical, licensing, or legal reasons. We aim to restore eligible access when practicable but cannot promise uninterrupted availability.

5. Reading and listening data

The app may sync your reading location, audiobook position, account access, and saved preferences to provide continuity across sessions or devices. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Closing your account

You may request permanent deletion from Account → Delete account or from the public deletion page, including when the app is no longer installed. Deletion removes account-related book access and progress and may not be reversible. Limited records may be retained when required by law or needed for security and dispute resolution, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Limitations and updates

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We may make reasonable changes to features or these terms; material changes will be communicated where required. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer laws.
